About Michael

Franklin is my home. I grew up here, graduated Franklin-Simpson High School in 2005, and Marie and I have built our life here raising our two boys, Cooper and Owen.

Faith, family, and hard work guide everything I do. After the sudden loss of my mom, Debbie, in 2008, I gained a new perspective on perseverance, service, and the importance of community. Her example of strength and generosity continues to inspire me every day — and is one of the reasons I feel called to serve our county.

For more than 15 years, I’ve run Sharper Image Tree & Landscape, growing it into a business that employs 10 of our neighbors. I also serve as a Deacon at Woodburn Baptist Church and stay active in schools, youth sports, and community programs.
